Depression and anxiety are mental disorders in which the person loses interest in day to day activities and there is a clear indication when a person goes in depression because there is a change in the person's behavior, habit, sleeping pattern, talking. These people have a high tendency of living alone and share less with other people this is what makes the situation worse.

First, the mind is hit by anxiety and depression the person fell a lack of concentration and the mind is filled with unwanted thoughts which are mostly negative hence the mental health of the person deteriorates. One of the main reasons for the impact on the brain is the hormone serotonin (5-hydroxytryptamine) which is also called the happiness hormone. This hormone generally acts as neurotransmitters and is released excessively when we are happy and excited about something. In depression and anxiety, there is decreased serotonin levels which are responsible for negative thought and depression.
Now our body also reacts to anxiety and depression, the person feels irritable and restlessness hence cannot tolerate simple things. Mostly the body shows lethargy and fatigue and so the person doesn't want to do anything, neither wants to have any communication with anyone and this is the crucial point without communication the person becomes more negative.
This is not the end several diseases are caused by anxiety and depression. Heart diseases like heart palpitation and trembling. Our gut is effected very much the bowel movement is affected and appetite decreases and several diseases like irritation and inflammation of bowel may be seen.

Initially it possible to control anxiety and depression before it becomes too late. And these are very simple steps. As soon as you find your self stressed or depressed. Stop whatever you are doing and start taking a deep breath yes it may seem insignificant but it works miracles deep breath intakes more oxygen inside the body and more oxygen you feel some relief. Now, what's the next step? Stop your work causing stress and do the things you like to do such as singing, dancing, painting, listening to music, reading blogs, reading storybooks. So what's important for these activities? These activities increase serotonin levels in our brain and make us feel happy, confident, and positive about ourself. Another very crucial thing is communication, most of the people in depression they don't share their problem with anyone but its really very important to share and we have to find a person to share our problems as it decreases our burden and makes us a bit happier. We have to keep in mind that every problem has a solution and it ends and never gives up our hope. And last but not least we can perform exercises and yoga they are the best ways to decrease stress as doing exercises causes the release of hormone endorphins inside our brain that makes us happy and positive about ourselves. Yes, playing outdoor games such as cricket, football, hockey, swimming, and a lot more that involve our physical activity can also be a substitute for it. But not online games they are not good for us as they cause more stress

Yes, food also has a significant role in our mental health. The mostly vegetarian diet has seen to have a good impact on mental health whereas the non-veg diet has a negative impact. Also, substance abuse harms our health. So we have to be away from these things to live a healthy and happy life.
